Visiting Artists, Art on the Farm 2014
We are pleased to announce our 2014 visiting artists Peter Allen Hoffmann (MFA Hunter College, BA Bard College) and Alyssa Robb (BA Oberlin College). In just a few short days they will run workshops, give individual tutorials and speak about their own creative process alongside Frank, Rosie and Sinead. This experience provides our Art on the Farm students with a great opportunity to work alongside and learn from dedicated and talented artists.
Peter Allen Hoffmann received his MFA from Hunter College of CUNY in 2005, and his BA from Bard College in 2001; he has had numerous solo and group shows at Freight+Volume, The Painting Center in NY, Thomas Robertello in Chicago, the Wexford Art Centre in Ireland among many others. He has received awards and travel grants from Hunter College, CUNY and was one of our first residency artists in 2008. His work has been reviewed extensively in a variety of national and international art and literary publications, including Art Korea, The Chicago Tribune, and Useless magazine. He lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
Alyssa Robb is an artist, designer, and art educator currently residing in Northampton, MA. Alyssa earned her BA from Oberlin College, and continued on to study photography at the Maine Photographic Workshops and the International Center of Photography. In the fall she will begin her Masters in Landscape Architecture.
