Community update with William Rueck.
Billy participated in our 2009 Artist Residency. He is an artist and craftsman trained in traditional wood and metalworking. In 2005 he received a BFA in Furniture Design from the Rhode Island School of Design, and his MFA in Applied Craft and Design at the Pacific Northwest College of Art and Oregon College of Art and Craft in 2012. Most recently he participated in the roaming residency Cabin Time, and works for a design-build firm in Portland, Oregon called Orange Design. Community update with Peter Allen Hoffmann
New to our Cow House Studios community section is a brief Q&A with former residency artist Peter Allen Hoffmann. Peter is a painter based in Brooklyn, New York. In 2005, he graduated with an MFA from Hunter College. He’s exhibited in Ireland, Germany and throughout the US. In 2008 he was one of our first residency artists, and has remained a close friend. His most recent solo exhibition Outer Space ran from May 30 – July 6, 2013 at Freight + Volume in New York. You can read our conversation here.
