Online Exhibition
During Art on the Farm, students have the opportunity to work in a variety of media as evidenced by the work you see here. Whether it be oil painting, darkroom photography, figure drawing, temporary sculpture, a short animation or large scale installation, everyone goes away with some fantastic pieces. There is a real evolution in the work we see throughout the weeks, and everyone’s willingness to try working in different ways produces exciting results; whether its large scale drawing or painting, mixing different media in a single piece, pushing a concept through in their photography, or working three dimensionally.
Within our student galleries, you will see five works by each student. This is only a fraction of what is produced during Art on the Farm, the beginning of what will surely be more personal, thoughtful and accomplished artwork. We’re very proud of the work our students produce, but more importantly the effort that goes into pushing themselves in new directions.
